MTX delivered Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s new Oxford Critical Care unit (OCC) at the city’s John Radcliffe Hospital using MMC.

The building was originally envisaged as three storeys, but the Trust quickly realised that it needed to be taller, and we worked closely with them to ensure the building met their new requirements.

It is often said that if you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism. Whilst this quip might be true, it suggests that the task of designing suitable environments for people with autism is extremely challenging. Improving the accessibility of our entire built environment for people with PDD is ultimately the end goal, but we need to focus primarily on the first environment an individual experiences outside of the home, school.

World Religion Day was held on the 16^th  of January this year, and although Team WPA were unable to meet in person to acknowledge and celebrate, the spirit of the day is embodied within our team.
