Community Microgrant Fund Project - Pobl
At WPA, we’re proud to support the incredible work that Pobl Trust is doing across Wales by awarding them £7,000 from our Community Benefit Fund for 2023. This grant enables Pobl Trust to continue their mission of raising funds and providing microgrants of up to £1,000 for grassroots organisations and community groups in the regions where Pobl Group operates.
Our shared goal is to help create opportunities and improve the quality of life for people and communities. As we look beyond the pandemic, Pobl Trust has placed a strong emphasis on sustainable projects that can bring long-lasting benefits to local areas. By supporting projects focused on skills-sharing, resource-sharing, and sustainable living, we are contributing to initiatives that empower communities to help themselves.
Already, Pobl Trust has been able to allocate our £7,000 grant to several impactful projects, including Pobl Caersalem House, Awen Cultural Trust, Make A Smile Charity, Surf Therapy, The Family and Community Group, Hay Junior Football Club, and Cruse Bereavement Support Cymru. We’re excited to see the far-reaching, positive impact this funding will have on these communities.
